Round the Island

History buffs and nature lovers will enjoy the Round the Island tour. St.Lucia is a gorgeous Caribbean island with a rich history of English, French, African and Indian influences.

St. Lucia, nicknamed "The Helen of the West" after Helen of Troy who is known for her majestic beauty, has some of the Caribbean's most beautiful sights. Take in the canopy of the tropical rainforest or drive through banana plantations, fishing villages and the famous twin peak Pitons.

This tour includes a stop at the Botanical Gardens located at the foot of the Pitons. The St Lucia Botanical Gardens has rare tropical flowers and birds and the beautiful Diamond Waterfall. You shouldn't pass up the sulfur springs, rumored to have medicinal healing properties.

The tour continues through small villages in the south of the island where tour guides will tell you about folk tales and the area's heritage. You'll also enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Brig Unicorn Day Sail

One of the most fun ways to experience St Lucia is aboard the Tall Ship Brig Unicorn. This huge ship was used in the filming of "Roots" and "Pirates of the Caribbean".

A tour on this ship will sail you past the west coast of St Lucia offering unforgettable views of the island and its many fishing villages. Rum punch is served on board.

You’ll take a brief stop at the village of Soufriere where you can see the Sulfur Springs, Volcano, Diamond Waterfall and the rare plants and birds at the Botanical Gardens. After visiting Soufriere, guest will be treated to an onboard lunch.

On the return to the North of St Lucia, the ship will stop at the remote Anse Cochon Beach where you can go for a swim and sail on through the stunning Marigot Bay.

Gros Piton Nature Walk

The famous St Lucia Pitons are two volcanic mountains that sit right on the edge of the west side of the island. On the Gros Piton Nature Walk, adventurous hikers can go on a hiking tour of the larger Piton which rises over 2,500 feet above sea level.

The first part of the hike takes guests up a gradual slope. From the Gros Piton, you can see the smaller one known as the Petit Piton with is lush green slopes.

The trail increases in steepness as it rises higher, so you must wear hiking boots with adequate support. The tour includes a drive to the Piton and a drive back to your location.

Land and Sea Safari to Soufriere

One of the best ways to get the most out of a vacation to St Lucia is to take the Land and Sea Tour. The island has amazing views that need to be seen, some only available from boat.

The land and sea safari will take you through fishing villages, the tropical rainforest and a banana plantation while knowledgeable tour guides share interesting historical information with you. You’ll be able to see the southern town of Soufriere, home of the famous Pitons. You’ll see volcanic sulfur springs in the drive-in volcano and the St Lucia Botanical Gardens.

Tours include lunch served at a plantation style restaurant. Following lunch, you’ll get on board a boat to experience the beauty of the island from the Caribbean. The boat stops at the beautiful Marigot Bay where you can go for a swim.

The zipline is located in the heart of the rainforest, so bring along a camera as the ride back to your location is a picturesque view of St Lucia that you won’t want to forget. Closed sandals or trainers are a must (flip flops are not recommended).
